The Canada's West Marketplace trade show is a partnership between Travel Alberta and Destination British Columbia. Now in its 27th year, this annual travel trade show brings together the following delegates in a proven business exchange format:
This year, the CWM trade show will take place at the Coast Canmore Hotel and Conference Center in Canmore. This three-day, four-night event combines appointments, social events, networking opportunities, and pre/post familiarization tours into an intensive, but highly productive industry forum.
The trade show is divided into two separate appointment sessions - one for Alberta Sellers and one for BC Sellers. There are 50 appointments per session, each 10 minutes in length, with a two-minute changeover between appointments.
Appointments between Buyers and Sellers take place during these two sessions. The appointment schedule is determined by matching appointment requests made by both Buyers and Sellers and is finalized prior to the trade show. Additional appointments can be scheduled on-site during the shopping sessions which are at the beginning of each appointment session.
Buyers are seated in booths for both appointment sessions, and Sellers circulate the marketplace floor for their appointments.
